Had Char Siew Rice for Lunch. Much different from Singapore's because they give 2 types of vegetables instead of cucumber and it cost 5元. More varieties in one packet instead of just char siew. And one thing about their meals is that it is always accompanied by soup. Very very healthy. The food is good but somehow my appetite is smaller here. Haha. I might become slimmer here. Yeah!
Anyway, I've added more songs due to a request from Mrs Michelle Chua. Y'all may not know her but she was temporary replacing Angelina Soh for our OSIP. I hope you enjoy the song Michelle! Hee.
Okay, yesterday night. I've sat on a scooter yesterday! 黄小姐 wanted to go to our room and see what's wrong with the LAN connection. Apparently nothing could be done till the technician come. It was my first time sitting on a scooter. I've told mummy and she told me not to do it again. Haha. Mummy and Daddy don't like me riding on anything two wheels except on bicycles.
Anyway, there is a supermarket opposite BLUETVSAT Electronics (The company we are working for). So we cross the road to go get blankets (FINALLY!) and plastic bags. Although the hotel do provide us blankets but it is too scrubby. Very uncomfortable to sleep in. For the past 2 days I was freezed to death! For 28元 (S$5.60), I've got myself a very comfortable blanket. For the first night out of the three, I slept peacefully except that the rooster is still irrtating. Haha. We had to get plastic bags because the hotel doesn't provide us with any. Furthermore, room service is only 4 times a month, which is a good thing as I wouldn't want the cleaners to be coming in and out of our room everyday. I wouldn't wanna see my valuables missing one-by-one each day. But all of it are locked up (That's like Rule #1). Remember this people, lock your stuffs no matter where you are! Hee.
The purple one is mine because Wendy said that it is nicer so she let me have it. Very sweet of her. Hee. But both are equally comfortable.
This is the scrubby blanket. Please don't be mistaken by it because you cannot see the scrubbiness (Hee. No such word.). It is damn uncomfortable!
Anyway, many stuffs had to get on our own. We went to 大众 supermarket the other day and I saw something very interesting. Opps, sorry no pictures. Hee. Anyway, especially when you are at big supermarket here, your valuables are better not be with you. Even if your sling bag has zip is also of no use. So they have this locket to keep it. I BET with you, you haven't seen their lockers, unless, maybe you've been to China. Their lockers run with barcode. You have to press for a receipt with barcode then a locker will automatically open up. Then when you wanna retrieve your belongings, you will have to scan the barcode then it will open up. Quite cool I thought.
Anyway, after buying our stuffs which was like 8.30pm, we went to buy our own dinner by OURSELVES. Haha. Proud of myself again. This is the first night we weren't accompanied by anybody. Ha! We went to buy dumpling (饺子) for dinner. Eating 饺子was like the first thing in my list that I wanted to try.
Wendy had the 猪肉韭菜饺子 and I had the 猪肉香菇饺子. For my non-chinese friends, 猪肉 is pork (sorry), 韭菜 is a favoured vege and 香菇 is mushroom. So this is today's Chinese lesson. Ha! I wanted to post pictures but suddenly the photobucket has problem again. The whole day. Later when you see the picture, you will see that Wendy's dumpling presentation was not too nice but it taste really nice! Haha. Mine is nice too ok. Wendy's for 20 dumplings was 9元 and mine was 8元 for 20 dumplings too. Wendy's managed to have leftovers of only one. I left 6! Damn filling ok.
The top one is Wendy's. And the bottom one is mine. I told you the presentation is not really nice maybe because we packed it back to eat. But it is really nice!!
I just realised that there's 'Anyway' in each paragraph. Haha. Maybe too used to it already. Anyway, shall end here. Got more to do. I will post the dumplings later.
