30th May 2007, Wednesday

Nothing much at work today. Just did some translation for 黄小姐, chat with some customers in English for 黄小姐 and chat for more dealers who are using the old version of the satellite receiver.

After work, we went up to 香兰's place to check it out. Outside their house, they are allowed to hang clothes and all. Never seen so much clothes hanging outside the corrider before. Very interesting though. After that, we went back to our place to put our stuffs and headed out to meet 黄小姐.

She brought us to meet her sister because Wendy wants to get product(s) for herself. We went to the place where we went shopping the other time, which is near 黄小姐's place. This is the oyster omelette I was talking about the other time. But didn't have the picture till now. This is not as fresh as the previous time so we didn't order. Furthermore, the uncle didn't want to make a new one for us as it was quite late already.

This is something new. You can say that it is dumpling. But I would say that it looks more like wanton, wrapped with minced chicken in it. The sauce is the sar chang jiang. The sauce that we dipped with the beef the first day when we arrived. Apparently, most of the sauce over the food is sar chang jiang. Very famous and tasty here. But too much of it can make you feel quite sick of it. But over this wanton is something new so still alright.
I have managed to take a video of the aunty making our chicken wanton. Very interesting and fast. Impressive skills. Haha. If I were to do it then I would suck at it. Duh! She's experienced. (I've posted the video above this. Apparently I put the video in here but cannot be viewed.) Enjoy!

This is the so called 'rice dumpling', that I've mentioned the other time too. Taste quite like it but nicer with this sweet syrup. Everything is stuffed till it looks like a sausage. Then cut out to be like this.

This is the soup that is accompanied with the 'rice dumpling'. Very nice. I have told you that it tasted like what my grandma makes every cny. I love it when it is very pepperish.

I think for the time being we wouldn't visit here because the lady boss is a little crazy. The picture of the soup above looks like the portion we had the other time but this time she said this is the big portion. I think she thinks that we are kids and do not know how to tell the difference. This 'big' portion is equivalent to the small portion we had the other time. Gosh! What a ripped-off.
